Andrea Nicole Parker (March 8, 1969)-Actress and former ballet dancer: Andrea is probably best known as "Ms Parker" in the 2001 TV series, Pretender. She is my second cousin twice removed; our common ancestor is my great grandparents, John B. and Cynthia Rutherford Brunson.
Ethan Allen (January 21, 1738 – February 12, 1789): He was a farmer, businessman, land speculator, philosopher, writer, and American Revolutionary War patriot, hero, and politician. His name probably most remembered in association with The Green Mountain Boys and with the furniture that bares his name. His first wife was Mary Brownson (1743 - Jun 1783) of Roxbury, CT.
Louisa May Alcott (November 29, 1832-March 6, 1888): Amos Bronson Alcott (November 29, 1799-March 4, 1888) was born in Wolcott, CT, the oldest of eight children of Anna Bronson and Joseph Chatfield Alcox. His wife was Abigail May (October 8, 1800-November 25, 1877). Louisa May Alcott was their second daughter.
Captain Daniel Brunson: Following the Box Massacre in TX in Aug 1866 where Jim Box was killed and scalped by Kiowa, Mrs. Box and her 5 daughters were captured. Capt. Brunson led the search for them and negotiated their ransom in Ft. Dodge, Kansas in Oct 1866. They returned to TX and Margaret, the oldest daughter, later married her rescuer.
