The Saunders Family mainly from Dinton

I am decendant from Francis SANDERS (the U was added later) He was a Butcher and Mary ROGERS, they were born around 1770, and raised their family in Dinton My 3 great grandfather was their son John SAUNDERS b abt 1814  (also a butcher) married to Eliza WELFORD, my 2 great grandfather was their son Edwin SAUNDERS, B 1842 (a bricklayer) who married Sarah PLASLOW but after she died he moved to Surrey, married my 2 great grandmother Ann Mary JOHNSON. Edwin raised his family in Wimbeldon Surrey, but he was born in Dinton Ford. Edwin's son, Frank immigrated to Canada, and Frank's son Bertrand immigrated to the US where my father was born.

Edwin's sister Emma married James TOMES and they stayed in Dinton and they raised theoir fasmily there.
