Josephine Comeau m. Thomas Nixon / Yarmouth, Nova Scotia

Hello to all.  I am looking for information on my grandparents Josephine Comeau and Thomas Nixon.  They had two children, my mother, Mary Charlotte born in 1909 and her brother, John Edward, born in 1912.  Both children were placed in an orpahanage in Halifax in 1914 and taken in 1915 by two separate families in Cape Breton.  I'm also looking for information on John Edward. He is thought to have left NS for Toronto.  When his adopted brothers contacted him in 1958 in Toronto he wanted nothing to do with the family anymore.  His name is believed to be Eddie McNeil.  If anyone has any info. on this man or his family, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Josephine and Thomas appear in the 1911 census for yarmouth along with my mother Mary Charlotte but I have been unable to find a marriage certificate yet.  She died about 1925 from Consumption(TB).
