You're welcome.
I couldn't find your line in my book. I have another book that it may be in, but I don't have the book with me right now. If I find the information I'll post a message on here.
I believe that I have information on this line of the Carder family. Give me a few days to check it. I'm not at home for the weekend so won't be able to check until I am there.
We have a new member. Please welcome Tamara Sue Carder Caufield to our group. Tamera, Would you please tell us which branch of the Carder family you descend from? Thanks.
Brian and Marsha,
Welcome to the group! Awesome to have some of my favorite people here.
Put your Carder info here. It's fine to have it on your personal page but it needs to be here too, so that if anyone comes to our group, they'll see it. We've got to get these Carders connect.
It drives me insane that after all of these years. we still don't know who John M. Carder's parents were. This group is one more place where maybe just the right person will join and break our brick wall.
That was suppose to say 1900 census.
Welcome to the Carder surname group. My great, great grandfather was John Mahlon (or Malin) Carder. He was born in Culpeper County, Virginia and according to the 1900, born in October, 1822. The family moved to Ohio in the mid-1830's & were in Greene County, Ohio by the early to mid-1840's. I have been trying to learn who his parents were and hope through this group that I will find some of your ancestors will connect with John's parents.
It is possible that they lived in Harrison County, Virginia (now W. VA.) before reaching Ohio. For John's known siblings, please go to the website link on this group. Please sign the guestbook and leave some info on your Carder line there. It is another place for us to make connections with other descendants of all of our liens. I do believe that all of those Carders with early Culpeper County roots are somehow related and together, maybe we will be able to find those relationships.
