Abraham Lincoln Carpenter 1863-1942 m/ Laura Ellen "Lena E," Viers 1860-1923. Had 2 children Ford Lincoln Carpenter 1887-1964 and Adele L. Carpenter 1890-1970. Ford m/ Margaret "Peg" E. Esselburn 1895-1974 and had 3 girls Jane C. 1922-1992, Nancy b 1923 and Suzanne "Suzie" b 1926. Back up to Adele L. Carpenter. She m/ William F. Peters 1886-@1970. They had 2 girls Barbara E. Peters and Jean P. Peters who died in 1977. Back to Jane C. Carpenter. She married Wayne F. Anderson and they had 4 children. I Believe this is Michigan now. Deborah Anderson b 1942. Carol Anderson b 1948, Peter Anderson b. 1952, and Jandy Anderson b 1958. Carol Anderson m/ John Shikles. They had 2 girls Heidi and Abby. Back up to Jandy Anderson who m/ John Craighill Kerby-Miller II. They had 1 son John Craighill Kerby-Miller III. That's all I have. Hope it helps someone sometime. Good hunting.

Comment by Russell Scott Carpenter on February 12, 2011 at 12:13am: Yes, I am. I was given a lot of reserarch done by a cousin who used to live in D.C. area. My Carpenters mainly lived in the Wood County, OH area and I'm trying to trace them back to the east coast.
