Where do your Carrolls fit in?
Mine appear in Ontario, Canada in the late 1700's, rumors only as to where in Ireland they are from, and then by the mid-1800's had immigrated to the United States and Utah with the Mormon migration across the plains. Charles Negus Carroll, son of Patrick Carroll or O'Carroll is our best documented ancestor, born in the early 1800's.

I just started into this, and am honestly over-whelmed... I don't know where to start.
I delved into this after trying to find my correct Coat-of Arms, and realized that there are quite a few.
