I am descended from John Carter who was born circa 1735 in Woburn, MASS. He married Mrs. Lucinda Davis in 1760 and emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1761 settling in what is known as Colchester County.
The records only go to his birth, I have no information as to his parents or siblings.......

Hi Brenda,
My Carter line also was in Woburn but I don't have John Carter linked to my family. It would seem like there might be a connection between my family tree and yours. I will update if I find any further information. -
