Where are your Christies From?
Both the Christies on my side and my husbands come from Scotland.
We are yet to find the link between our two lines, but if we go back far enough we might get lucky.
Mine are from Haddington and Ian's are from Abrouth, not that ar as the crow flies really.

My Christies are from Arbroath too! My great grandfather Samuel immigrated to New York in 1907; a few his brothers also came over and others stayed there and in the Dundee area, I believe. His sister Margaret married a John Meechin and moved to Lynn, Mass. USA.
I have done a bit of research on them and the Crammond family that my ggm was a member of. My grandfather was in the Boer War and was a member of the Black Watch and Clan MacGregor. I think you are the first folks I have seen with the Christie Arbroath connection. -
