Charles Snodgrass, 1742-1808, is my 5th great grandfather.  Planning a trip to Scotland and Ireland and looking for guidance on where to go to research this line of my family.

Hi Chris- I have Snodgrass relatives from Weirton, WV, Martha Isabelle Snodgrass was my grandmother- she had brothers, Alfred, and James.She was born in 1915, I believe. I don’t have much on that side of the family because most have passed. Just wondering if there is a connection?

Chris, you and I are following the same lines.  I would appreciate any additional information on the Snodgrass line.  My ggm was Elizabeth Alice Snodgrass who married Edward Martin Luther Reynolds and they had my grandmother Mabel Edna Reynolds.

My father was Carrol Frederick Snodgrass (1910-1968) b. Steubenville , Ohio ,d.Miami, Fl. , My grandfather was John Christopher Nelson Snodgrass (1876-1964) b. Steubenville ,Ohio , d. Miami, Fl. . My great grandfather was John Nelson Snodgrass (1839-1930) b. (West) Virginia , d. Ohio ., My great great grandfather was Henry P. Snodgrass (1816-1895) b. (West) Virginia , d. Ohio . I have new info going back to 1605 , anyone here following this line ?

Looking for info on William Thomas Snodgrass born 1873 to Alexander and Martha May Stodgrass. Born in Tennessee moved to Texas where Martha Died in Sherman in 1896 by a cyclone.

William changed his name sometime between 1920 and 1924 when he married my grandmother.

Does anyone know how Mary Snodgrass was married to Wm Fluharty. Need to find wedding actuall date and her birth date. I hope someone in the snodgrass clan can help. My Grandpa Henry married Sarah Snodgrass he was Wm son.

My gg grandfather was William Fluharty and all of the genealogy information I have found said he was married to a Mary Snodgrass. I have recently been informed that the information that I had thought was accurate was not. The person that told me this, just thought her name was Snodgrass. He could not find any proof in the Snodgrass clan that anyone named Mary had married William Fluharty. I am now trying to confirm this. Does anyone know anything about Mary Snodgrass and William Fluharty?

My Wife Janet ( nee Kerr ) Great Grandmother is Agnes Snodgrass b 1816 Broadstonehall, Beith Ayrshire married William Kerr, have a lot of information happy to share.

Hi all. I too a0-6-41m a Snodgrass. My father is Leroy Lewis Snodgrass, born 10-6-41 in Springfield, CO, my grandfather is Lewis Snodgrass, born 7-5-1911 in Gilstrap, KY, married to my grandmother Roberta K. Daugherty, not sure of the date, my great grandfather is Carl Snodgrass bor 2-15-1892 in Gilstrap, KY, married to my great grandmother Sara Ann Daugherty, born 6-17-1893.
This is pretty much the extent of my info so far. I do know the names of my Grandpa's siblings. Happy to share anything I have.
