Hello,

I am new here. My line goes Jane S. Corley<John Manoah Corley<Manoah Corley<Richard Corley IV <etc.  Do I fit with "you all"? (all in VA).

Please respond. I have more.  Howard McCalla

Hello everyone, I would be interested in reading Southern Sojourners as well. Does anyone know if it covers farther back than Caniel? I, too, am a direct descendant of Richard the Immigrant; my ancestor being Caniel's uncle Robert and was wondering if this book stopped with Caniel like "A Genealogy Of Corleys" and Mr. Caulley's book "All Her Children" will; does anyone know?

Hi All.  I'm working on a Corley Book for descendants of Sally Finley and Caniel Corley.  So far I have 1086 pages with tons of primary source documents.

I've been researching the Corleys for about 40 years.

Tom Caulley (A spelling variation of Corley)

I'm a novice of genealogy, but want to know more about my ancestors. The farthest back I can go is my ggg-grandparents. They were Larkin Dawson "Cap" Corley and Lucy Goree. They married in Coweta Cty, GA on 10/15/1839. Is there a way to get A Genealogy of Corleys or Southern Sojourners? Any help I could get would be very appreciated.

Victoria, the book covers the descendants of Caniel Corley, who lived in Virginia in the 1700s. Caniel was a descendant of Richard Corley (The Immigrant), who arrived here in the 1600s. His country of origin is as yet unknown to me.

I take it this book is really only relevent to Corleys from the US?

I too have a copy of A Geneology Of Corleys. I just started researching this side of my family and my grandfather gave me his copy of this book. It is amazing what I have been able to find already.

I am a direct descendant of Richard the Immigrant (mentioned in Rosemary Corley Neal's book Southern Sojourners). I have a copy of A Genealogy of Corleys by Dewitt Corley. I'm researching the Corleys as the progressed from Viriginia to Iowa/Illinois. Would love to determine where Richard immigrated from, but that seems to be a brickwall no one has conquered...
