I am attempting to locate some family I haven't met or know in the Karlovac/Zagreb area. What I do know is that my great grandfather, John (Ivan) Luketic came to the U.S. approximately 1898 from Karlovac. He married Anna Bozic (?). She was from somewherer in Croatia. On the same side in my other great grandfather Nikola Stubljarac/Stubljar who is from Jugovac. He married Anna Blazevich (?). She is from Novaki. If anyone could please provide me with any additional information on descendants in the area I would be grateful. I will be travelling to the area in early Sept. 2014. I have been searching with no luck to find someone before I get there. Thanks in advance for any assistance or guidance.

My search is on BRNICEVIC (BERNICHEVICH) and NAZOR. My grandfather John (IVAC) left Croatia in 1912 and came to Cleveland, OH. His last residence I believe was Jesenice, born in Mali Rat.His father's name was George and mother's was Anna Nazor. I have nothing documented about his time in Croatia.

I don't have any Croatian roots, but I am currently living in Split, Croatia. If anybody needs any checking up done at cemeteries in Split or the near-by area I would be happy to check things out or take some photos for you. Feel free to let me know!
