Hi, Can anyone tell me if Naesbjerg and Esbjerg are the same town in Denmark. Some one told me today, who is from Denmark that they were. But when I look on map, it looks like they are two different towns. Thanks Denise
To Larry Bowles, many thanks for the link Larry , sorry I have not been back in to read this, I have been ill.

Looking for any info on my gg grandfather Ole Hansen. Born 4 Nov 1845 in Naesbjerg, Ribe. Married Margrethe Kirstine Rasmussen. My great grandfather was Rasmus Bondesen Hansen, later changed his name to Robert after he immigrated to U.S.
His father I believe is Hans Christen Pedersen and mother Ane Catherine Jorgensdatter.
This is all I can find. Death unknown. Any additional information would be much appreciated.
Cheryl: Most birth records, marriages and death records can be found at: http://www.arkivalieronline.dk/. Everything will be in Danish but almost all the parish records will be there.
Is there a danish site for looking up birth records etc
Regards Cheryl

May I suggest that you do what Logan did above and "+Add a Discussion" so that your inquiry does not get lost on the wall. You need to be logged in to see the button.
Can you give us more to go on? Birth dates, immigration dates, other family names... and especially with John, where lived, occupations, any census data, and death data. How about his family? Was he in a Danish lodge? church?
