I have a Christian Mortenson Juhl, born in the Haderslev area around 1960 and his brother Peter Lindbaek Juhl born 1867 immigrated to California.

I wonder would anyone have any information on my gt.gt.grandfather, Christen Sorensen (also known as Kraen Pouls). He was supposed to have been the first lay preacher in Northern Jutland. Born 1790 in Haasum near Viborg and died 1867 in Haasum.

The reason I asked was that I wanted to learn more about a man named Rollo the Dane . I also believe he was called Hrolf , but I'm not sure.

The only research possible for that time period is among the royalty of Denmark. I do have all of that.

ok i am a little new at this i have been trying to get both side of my family done...not easy...but this is what i knowfrom ancestry...my ggggrandfather was hans p folsted born 1806-1839 from denmark(i will have to look up where) his father was mouritz p folested born 1775...mother was ellen k roed 1772...but one of the hints i have for ellen shows biths and christenings 1631-1900's (in danish ) record...but of curse as i mention i can't see that....thank you so much for your help....might we be great cousins....10th or so removed...lol
