BRITISH GUIANA.
Official Advertisement—County Berbice, to wit
I THE undersigned, Administrator-General of Berbice,
do hereby, in pursuance of Ordinance No. 7, of the
year 1851, entitled " An Ordinance for amending and consolidating
the rules and regulations applicable to the office
of Administrators-General of British Guiana," give notice,
that the balances specified in the list hereunto subjoined,
being balances remaining of the respective estates in said
mentioned list, after payment to the creditors of such
respective estates, and heretofore unclaimed, were, on the
24th day of December 1846, deposited by me in the colony
chest of British Guiana; and 1 hereby call upon all persons
having any right, title, and interest in and to any of the said
balances, to make claim for the same within ten years from
and after the said 24th day of December, of the year 1846;
and I certify, that in the event of no claim being made to
such balances, or any of them, within the said period of ten
years, all right, title, and interest of every person in and to
the balance or balances • against which no claim shall be
made •within such period, shall be prescribed and barred,
and such balance or balances shall become and be part and
parcel of the general funds of the colony.
