The Queen has been pleased to appoint Sir
James Emerson Tennent, Knt. to be Governor of
St Helena.
Her Majesty has also been pleased to appoint
James Vickery Drysdale, Esq. to be Colonial
Secretary, and Robert G. McHugh, Esq. to be Her
Majesty's Treasurer, for the Island of St Lucia.
