I descend (I think?) Philip Chesley, Sr., and wife Elizabeth _____, by daughter Mary Chesley of Dover, N.H., who wed Lt. Ralph Hall. Sr., son of John Hall, Sr., and Hester Chesley. Ralph had Judge Kinsley Hall who wed Elizabeth Dudley, daughter of Rev. Samuel Dudley of Exeter, N.H., and wife Elizabeth (Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Gilman?). I may descend Humphry Bradstreet who wed Bridget Shatswell, who had Rebecca Bradstreet who wed George Bondfield (son of?), and had Mary Bondfield who wed? Lost lineage. I think Bridget was the daughter of Theophilis Shatswell and Susanna Bosworth, daughter of Edw. Bosworth, Sr. Theophilus was the son of John & Judith Shatswell. Now jump to a Mary Shatswell who wed Charles Rundlett and had Satchwell Rundlett, Sr., who wed Mercy Leavitt and had Mary Rundlett of Stratham, N.H., who wed Maj. Ebenezer Barker, Sr., who had Pvt. Eben Barker, Jr., who wed Hannah Burleigh, who had War of 1812 Capt. Stephen Jewett, III, of Hollis, N.H., who had Stephen Jewett, IV, who removed to my Southport, N.C. (then Smithville) as U.S. postmaster in the 1830's and wed 2nd Lucy Anna Bradley. Stephen is buried at the Bradley summer home chapel, Lebanon Mission, at today's "Airlie Gardens" (movies shot there) on Bradley's Creek. They had Elizia Yonge Jewett, 2nd wive of Epis. Rev. Edward Wootten (born Wooten of Pitt Co., N.C.) of Wilmington, Sgt. & Lt. CSA.
