I live in Michigan, but my father was born in North Carolina.
My father Robert Franklin Edmondson 1919-1987
My Grandfather Edgar Franklin Edmondson 1896-1954
Francis Marion Edmondson 1865-1930
Mack Gilbert Edmondson 1826-1900
Elias Henry Edmondson 1798-1837
William Edmondson 1765-1804
From there I am almost sure it goes to a Thomas Edmondson. But from Virginia, Maryland, etc? Right now I have:
Thomas Edmondson 1739-1789
Joseph Edmondson 1715-1766
My family still has the Edmondson Farm outside of Oak City North Carolina. Most of the family was born in Martin or Edgecombe Counties.

Oh, Annie was born in PA, so were all of their children.

I don't have any dates for John, but I have that Annie was born in September of 1862. They had 4 children (that I know of) - George William Edmondson, Walker Peter Edmondson (My G Grandfather), Lester Stewart Edmondson, and Albert Leander Edmondson.

Looks like we're in the same line. After Robert & Nancy Singleton, we have Samuel M & Jane Giddings. My wall is their daughter Mary E (Mollie ) ,she m.Joseph T Penland .Our gdad Ambrose Samuel Penland is listed as orphened in 1880 AR.census, Mary (Mollie ) & Joseph are not recorded. Mark W Cassidy
