exporting to word processor

I read the discussion from the gentleman who has FTM 2010. I am still on 2006. Earlier versions had the capability to export to a word processor. What about 2006? Am I just not seeing it or did they take it out that year?

Did you check the File, Export, with a Report on your screen?

I don't see that. I have File, Export file or Export family view. Export file has choices "entire file" or "selected individuals" and is exported as an .FTW file. Export family view exports just that "family view" to a .pdf file

That is because you have the Family View displayed. You need to have a Report on your screen to export.
