First, Thank you to Ancestry.com for provide the Logo for this group.
As I learn how to use these Group feature, at Genealogy Wise, I will post some suggestions on how might help manage your experience on the Family Tree Maker Fan Group.
1 - Admin Options (upper right of the Group Page)
You can select Follow or Stop Following the Comments made on the Group Home page. The messages posted there (Comments Wall) should be sorted with the most Recent first. That is the setting that I have set. As Admin, I don't know if you see it differently then I do. If the Sort is not Most Recent First, you may be able to make that setting yourself. But, it is set, Most Recent First.
2 - Family Tree Maker Knowledge Base Website
There are various links to the Knowledge Base website(s) and Message Boards for Family Tree Maker. If you have specific questions, you might want to check the Knowledge Base first, then post a message on one of the Message Board. I think the GenForums are easier. (only my opinion)
3 - Discussion Forum
I have found that the Use of the Discussion Forum helps control the amount of Email Notices from Genealogy Wise. Each Discussion provides an RSS feed for that Discussion that you have no interest in receiving updates, at the bottom of that Discussion is a Stop Following option.
4 - RSS Feed
As you may know, from the top of the Group, I have a Blog that I created for the Family Tree Maker program. Under the RSS Feed category, there will be a list of the LAST 5 postings to that Blog.

An Update:
Thank you all who have replied to my question for input.
One of the replies noted that the Discussion Replies are NOT most recent First, as the Main Group Page has that control by the "owner" of the Group.
As it turns out, I can NOT present nor change the order of the replies to that Discussion. It is sorted, Oldest first, down to the most recent.
Will be submitting a request for some control over this.
