"FERRIS. There were six Loyalist of this name, in all probability members of the same family, viz.; Caleb, George, Joshua, Joseph and Peter of Westchester County, New York" from Wiggins History of Queens Co., NB

Now this is really were I need some help! I have come accross information that says that John Ferris came to Saint John in 1787, and settled in Scotchtown, on lot number 23, of which he was the father of John, who married Mary McLean,; George who married Miss Blizzard.; Joseph who married Miss Cottle; William who married Miss MYERS; he also had three daughters Nancy, Catherine and Elizabeth. Other family such as the Greenwood family have it listed as I do! This Information is also listed in the Wiggins History of Queens Co., NB
