"RECORDS AND NOTES OF OLD SHARON CHURCH" (Robert & Ella Hughes)

Here is the url of a transcript of the above named item, which mentions several of my (and maybe some of your) ancestors from the 1840's - 1860's. As noted in the preface, "Sharon Church was never relocated, but with the changing of parish lines it was first listed as being in St. Tammany, then Washington, and finally in Tangipahoa Parish. St. Tammany was mother Parish to Washington, and they were both Mother Parish to Tangipahoa, which was formed in 1869."
