Comment by Cathy Milioto on March 27, 2011 at 2:21pm: Hi! My great grandmother and her sister were the daughters of Henry L and Mary Ann Larabee Fox. Henry died before the 1900 census. They lived in and around the Troy, New York area and Henry was a veteran of the Civil War being a volunteer from Hoosick Falls. Emma, Mary and Henry are supposed to be buried in St. Peter's Cemetery in Brunswick, NY. Anyone with information about my branch of Foxes can contact me at cathy417@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Comment by Guy Haines on February 8, 2011 at 1:49am: Hi, I am looking for any information on the Fox family in Virginia. My mother's maiden name was Mary Elizabeth Fox, born 1932 in Harrisonburg, VA. Her father, my grandfather, was named Bedford Samuel Fox. Beyond him, I have no other information. I believe my grandfather was born in the Front Royal, VA area. He is buried there. He was the only son, having several sisters. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Mine came from Germany in the 1800's. Earlist I have is Christopher Christian Fox born 1788 married to Katherine Weakly born 1792 . Both are from Germany.Son Christian was also born in Germany in1823 and his wife Caroline Vogel born 1827 was born in Germany also. My grandmother was one of their children born here in the states, she was born in 1887 in Naples, Ontario Co,NY
