Differences between the Comment Wall and Discussion Forums.

GenealogyWise is a great site and I'm continually learning more and more about how to make the best use of what we have here. I wanted to comment on how to get the most out of the group when posting something. If what I'm about to say is old news to you please forgive me.

Remember the following when posting comments, queries, news, etc.

The Comment Wall is great for announcing our presence as new members, welcoming others, news, mentioning our interests, and general comments.

The Discussion Forum section of this group is the place to post questions/queries that you hope others will see and hopefully respond. The Discussion Forum will attach responses to queries You are also able to attach files to a discussion forum. So that document you want to share when answering a query can be scanned, uploaded and linked directly to the query here in the discussion forum.
