I belong to Ancestry. I have done a lot of research there, most is good, but I found a bad mix up that brought me to a brick wall. A grandfather JOSHUA W. STACKHOUSE born 1825 in Monroe County, Ohio married MARY JANE McFARLAND IN 1849 IN Belmont Co. Ohio, He sired my Great Grandfather GEORGE WOODS STACKHOUSE who was my mother's grandfather and her mother's father. These counties are on the Ohio River. There was another Joshua B. 1822 in Clinton Co. Ohio married to a MARY JANE SPENCER. Clinton CO. is near Indiana. Ancestry has my JOSHUA'S children blended in with the other Joshua and has both of them dying inWetzel Co. WV. The other Joshua I find buried in Clinton Co. with his wife. All my research on my joshua is fouled up with the other man. I have census to show where mine is, but can't find a father. Any suggestions. Dianne
