This makes a great conversation piece, shows your children who your ancestors are, and fills up a wall in my home. How do you display your ancestors?

I went to Michael's and bought a sheet of paper that is 22"x28" and drew my family tree. I have it hanging int he entrance way to my apartment. It only goes back 6 generations but once I have more time to sit down, I'm going to make up one that takes up one whole wall. My ancestors go back to 1020 ob my maternal grandfather's side.
That sounds like a great idea. Will you use the whole wall and paint and draw on it and use pictures as well?
Going back to 1020 would take a BIG wall.
I use many ways to display my family tree. I have a framed poster that goes from my children to their great grandparents as far as photos go, and then one more line with their great great grandparents.

I also created a 4 generations cheat sheet 7 fold that I use to help my children to learn about their roots. My husband has one too, and brings it with him all the time!^_^

Also, my children love our family history games!

I share more ideas on my blog:

We have a Pennsylvania Dutch family tree poster hanging on our refrigerator. It had been packed away, but my son found it and decided it needed to be displayed. When people come over it usually generates some sort of discussion!
