Don't forget to journal as you add the pictures and the embellishments. This is an heirloom - a legacy of love. Use it to tell the story so future generations will know their history!

One of the things that can be really disheartening is trying to peel the old photos out of those magnetic albums we all used to love. It's really not that hard if you have the proper tools.

I love to scrapbook! Actually family history is what led me to scrapbooking. There are so many beautiful layouts on this page and they are all so creative and inspiring. Wish I had some to share, but all of mine so far have been presents!

I have been creating heritage scrapbook pages, now enough to fill two books, for some time now. It is a wonderful way to look back on family - the faces, the smiles, the struggles, and the love. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more ideas to create better pages. Will share some of mine in the future, but don't know if they can compare to what I have seen here already.

thank you for you warm welcome! I use the online software on my website http://www.preservemyheritage.com, and take advantage of the thousands of digital art items that I have available with my premier subscription.
Once I create my projects digitally, I then have my favorites printed and shipped at my home for me and my family to enjoy.
Is this your favorite?
This is a 7 fold 4 generations family sheet, and it is enjoyed by all my family members!

I use Legacy Family Tree genealogy software. They have Legacy Charting Companion, which I haven't tried yet. But there is also Generation Maps which does BEAUTIFUL work as well. They have lots of variations specific to genealogy.
