1. I see on "my page" that www.makemoneywith-google.com has left me a message. It appears to be a sales pitch and not related to genealogy or the goals of this site. How do I delete it and ensure I don't get more like it.
2. I "applied" to become a member of a group on this site that siad I had to be accepted to join it. That was quite a while ago and I have not heard anything back. Is there a requirement that if that type of application to join is required a response either yay or nay be given?

Yes, most recent comments and discussion with the most recent comments will appear at the tops of their respective lists.

Comment by Sally Nelson on August 26, 2009 at 9:02pm: Question. When I look at the icons for "My Groups" there is a notice about when the group was last active (i.e. 3 hours, 15 minutes, etc.). However, when I go to that group to see what was posted, I cannot find that entry. In some cases, it does not look as if the group was visited for at least a day. Are the most recent posts put at the top?

Comment by Sally Nelson on August 25, 2009 at 9:29am: I am late getting into this group, so my suggestion may have already been made and considered. I would like to see the "my groups", "my photos", "my friends", etc. included in the drop down boxes under their general categories. That eliminates one step.

Comment by Sally Nelson on August 25, 2009 at 8:54am: Note for Johnny--Thank you for your advice on the problem I was having inserting photo into profile setting. No matter what picture I tried, the message came back that the file had to be a jpg. But it was a jpg!

The answer seems to be that I was using Internet Explorer. I just downloaded Firefox, and had no problem uploading the picture.

There is a group I joined soon after I became a member of Genwise, and I no longer want to be a member of that group. I only joined it to answer a post that I knew something about, although it is not a line I research. How do I get out of that group?

Along the same lines, I volunteered to research subjects that will benefit groups. I do not want to join groups just to post information if I can't get out of them later. My mailbox is getting completely clogged now. I don't want to turn off some of the mail because I have a discussion going on with another member. Please HELP!

I consider myself a proffesion but I can not find my SCHWARTZ family from Philly in any of the censuses...Father Morris wife Ethel and son Max or Maxwell. the parents were born in Romania..the son Max or Maxwell born 1889. Max married Ann Gold in 1923 and lived at 255 S Frazier The mother was found Wid. in 1919 at 220 S Alden. I have tried and tried on Ancestry to find them in any census. PLEASE if any of you can do a miracle. Common names are difficult. Ann left Max in 1929 for LA..Max I am told was a bigamist. They had a son Martin born in 1923. I found them in LA in the 1930 but NOT the Schwartz's. Can any on find the Schwartz's Gayle
