Hyde or Hide Family Line

I' m researching Samuel Hyde or Hide (1784-after 1860) of Wilkes County, Georgia. He was married twice,to Caty Gibson (1788-1832) of Warren County and later to Jane Orr (1802-?) of Jasper County, Georgia.He moved his family to Winston County, Mississippi about 1840. I cannot find his parents or his origins. I read somewhere that Georgia was a debtor state and some early settlers had to work the land to payoff their debts. Is there any information or index with names of the these settlers?
