My children have ancestors in the Rhine Valley, notably around Geisenheim. Names include NEIST (originally NEISS - may have come from Koblenz) KUNZ (from Bingen) GOETZ, TRUNCK, SADONI (it's said they originated in Corsica and came to Germany in the 1600s) DOCKNER, DEBO, MEHLER, RUDOLF, KUHN, OTT, ENGELMANN, PROBECK, SCHAAB, BASTIAN, WERTHMANN, FREYLINGER, REICHMANNS, REIBERT and HANG.
