Hello, I spend several months of the year in Frankfurt. I go again in September. I could try to find the church and civil records for your George's birth which should tell you his parents name. I'll be glad to look, just let me know. Peggy

Hi, Additional information will be helpful.
I would like to know --
what if any research has been done in Germany and if you have any German records.
Do you know the sister's name?
Did his wife and kids come to the USA and return to Germany with him?
Do you know his religion?
Did he serve in the German military for WWI?

The more info the better. When I have helped others, I have the most success when I work out a research strategy before leaving for Germany and when I have copies of all relevant documents.

Christina Ruehl DOB 1 Oct 1906, Born in Crumstadt married Max Kuck in Germany stayed in US
Katherine Ruehl DOB 29 April 1908, Born in Moerfeldon married name Wohltmann (Eric)stayed
Dorothea Ruehl DOB 8 Mar 1814, Born in Eckenheim married name Sternberger (Walter)stayed
Georg Immigrated to Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio in 1926- Returned to Germany ?????
He was "Evanglish" (sp?)
