Gosses-NC and MO

I am interested in Gosses in southern Davidson Co NC, some of whom moved to southern MO, and some to IN.  And actually, I have a fair amount on some of these Gosses, but they have always been the ones who led me to the brick-wall hidden connections in the past.... Hoovers, Crosses, other NC families who tended to hide.  And I still have brick walls in among the Goss marriages and cousins.  So I clearly don't know enough yet about the Gosses! 

My ancestress was Susannah Goss, dau of Jacob Goss and Phoebe Giles, b about 1812 in Old Rowan County NC, later Davidson Co.  She married David Cross, a mystery.  One of their children, Amanda Cross, married Jesse Hoover from the same area (He is also a mystery.) and they traveled with some of the Gosses to southern MO. 

Some of the Gosses who had earlier moved from NC to IN had children who later moved to the same area in southern MO.
