Anyone know anything about Wagon Painters, decorative or otherwise?

I know that there were some Janes/Jeanes in livery companies in London, I have even tried to find more on them but I am in Arkansas, not much info from here.
A Thomas Jeanes was a Merchant Taylor in London in the early 1600's, he may have had brothers William and John. William acted as a merchant in Virginia, and was from London. These men were involved with the Harwood families who were members of the Virginia company. I would have to look at my information to see who else I know about but doubt you want me to list all of that.
I also have been interested in a Richard Jean (Gene) who was a goldsmith, he was also a member of the VA Company but his name has been transcribed as Chene instead of Gene.
