Benjamin Harpers of Weybread / Syleham, Suffolk

My interest is in Benjamin Harper who married Elizabeth Simpson in 1781 Weybread. Their known children were James 1783, John 1792, Elizabeth 1794 (married William Mason) and Judith 1799. Benjamin died 1840 Weybread aged 81 and is possibly the one born 30/5/1757 Syleham to William and Ann Harper..

Another Benjamin Harper (or perhaps the same one) married a Sarah Baxter in 1815 Wingfield. They had children William 1816, Robert 1818 and Benjamin 1821. I found a newspaper report dated 1824 about a petty crime committed against his wife Sarah. The report mentions that he is the same Benjamin Harper who received HM pardon for a murder committed 30 years earlier. That crime happened in 1792 and I have yet to find more information.

Does anyone have a connection or any information about either of these Benjamins?
