John William Hawkins

He was born in Newport, Shropshire, England in 1862, and he died in the 1stQrtr 1891 at only age 28. He was Christenened nearby at Wrockwardine  Wood, Shropshire on 18 Dec 1862. The christening lists only his mother as Eliza Hawkins but no father. Have been unable to find info on possible father. it appears that his mother Eliza may have been unwed. Any info or assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
