Looking for Ann Hewitt m. William? or George? Dodd in Brampton, England c. 1849. My great grandfather, Thomas Hewitt Dodd, died in 1930 in Arizona. On his death cert, his parents names are given as Ann Hewitt and William Dodd of "Brampton, England." I found an Ann Hewitt m. George (not William) Dodd 15 Sep 1849 in Farlam, Cumberland, UK. In the 1881 census for Clesketts, Brampton, Cumberland, UK, Dodd family including a Thomas appears. I'm trying to confirm that this is the correct family. Does anyone have an Ann Hewitt m. to Dodd in this time frame?
