Isaac Hubbard, father of William

My gggf was Isaac Hubbard b. 1792 in New York. He married Orpha Thayer b 1793. in 1812. I can find him with the 11 kids they had. He moved to Wisconsin in 1850, than to Iowa in 1860, were he died in 1893. His younest son was Joesph M. b 1835 who m Anna Stevens. They had Wailliam E. Hubbard in 1860, in Port Hope, MI. he is the only child. They had 2 children Edna Hubbard b.1897 and Harold G. Hubbard b. 1903. Harold m. Marion K. Rutzel b 1903 and had 2 children Jennette Hubbard 1926 and Russell H. Hubbard 1926. Russell is my father.
Any information on Isaac Hubbard and his parents would be appreciated.

Katherine, I wish I knew more. My Hubbard line ends with my 4g grandmother Mary, b. 1754, daughter of William, b. 1727. Unfortunately, both Isaac and William appear to be relatively common early Hubbard names, and I have never been able to reconcile the time frames of my William with any Isaacs I've found. Mary's 1754 bd makes her probably 1-2 generations earlier than your Isaac. She is the only child (that I know) of William, so I cannot help with any brothers. So far as I know, she never left New England (Connecticut) as her second marriage was still in Connecticut and her only child known to me, Mary [Hubbard] Burr, married in Connecticut. As an aside, none of Mary [Hubbard] Burr's children carried William or Isaac as given names. I'd love to hear if you get your Isaac's line back far enough to consider a connection.
