Comment by Michael Helmantoler on July 9, 2009 at 10:19pm: My ancestor Jean Briquet (Brickey/Bricou) was from Artois, France and came to So Carolina in 1690 the became the Clerk in St. Marys Co. Maryland. His descendants migrated to Botetourt Co, Virginia and to Jefferson County, Missouri
