I have scanned several indices from Putnam County, Indiana Deed books. I was wondering if anyone would like to help me transcribe these indices? If so, feel free to type up in a Word document and attach to a new post within this Discussion Board.

I have attached some scans below from the Putnam County, IN Deed Index (Grantors), Volume 3, April 1824 - Aug 1863 for surnames beginning with the letters T-Z.

This is an interesting service. I do not know if any of this information pertains to my search (there are some Talbotts, but I'm not sure who they are or where they lived). I will take a closer look in a day or two.

Hello! Have you come across the name William Hedden in your deed books? He owned land that spred into Putnam and Hendricks counties. About 100 acres. I think he was buried on his land, but can't find out. Can you help? He was born 1801 in Shelby Co., KY and died 1861 in Filmore, Putnam, IN. I believe he sold the land to a Brewer in-law. Thank you.
If you'll post C and S I'll transcribe those for you. Maybe I'll find some relatives, CRIPE and SEDAM :-).
