Thanks for the information that you gave. It helped a lot.
Where did you get the information that Peter and Susana where the Father and Mother for James. This would be helpful to have vitrification for this information.

If anyone else can get or has information on the Staleys from Parke Co. I would be great full to get it.

Jenny, I live near the Marshall County library, so popped in to see what they had on your people. I found nothing about Sarah Cochran or Thomas Raydorn/Rayburn, but there were other Cochrans in Bourbon. Someday you may be able to tie them to Sarah.

“Mother” Amy A. Berry his wife May 31, 1842 – Dec 22, 1915

Parks Memorial IOOF Cemetery, Bourbon Township, Sec 1
Cochrun, F.M. d. Mar 30, 1888 age 32y, 1m, 28d

Cochrun, Christina D. d. Sep 6, 1906 age 69y, 10m, 13d
Cochrun, John d. Sep 1878 age 547, 11m, 16d

John and Christina are in the 1860 and 1870 census in Marshall Co.
A Mary C. Cochren, age 18, is in the Lighter household in the 1870 census.

Looking for info about Sarah E. Cochran/ Cocoran m. Thomas Raydorn/ Rayburn 15 May 1868 Marshall Co. IN.; Ref; Book B pg. 583. Only known child Sarah Rayburn b. May 1868 (my ggrandmother) 1870 census Bourbon Twp. Marshall, IN living with Elizabeth Phillips.
WHO are Sarah Cochran's Parents? I have no info on her.
Who are Thomas's Parents?
Sarah may have divorced Thomas. Have found a Sarah Cochran m. Oliver Runnells 5 June 1873 BookC pg. 471.
Anyone have these books?

Hi,
I am looking for the father and mother of my gggrandfather, his name is Jame "Jas" Staley, b: 1821 in NC m: 10 Nov 1842 in Parke Co., IN to Elvina L. "Elva Aloy" Hoggatt b: abt 1821 in NC.
I posted this along time ago. I hope some on can help me. Maybe a marrage cirtificate or something. I live in Germany and it's hard for me to research this.
Everyone that I know from this family are stuck at the same point. I have a lead that a Peter Staley b: abt 1803 might be his father but no proof.
any help would be nice THANKS
