My Granddad was born of Irish parents but in Dundee, Scotland. Last name Hagan or O'Hagan. Grandmother of Irish parents born in Ireland, last name Fitzgibbons. I believe the Hagan I'm looking for would have been around 1800 or so. First name John and his wife's name was Mary. Their son's name was John Owen and daughter's name was Hannah. John worked for a shipline that sailed from Scotland and I do know they came to the states via Ellis Island. I am searching the records now. Any idea how I would go about looking for the Hagan's in Scotland? Thank you
