Annie Murphy married in Ballymodun - Where is Ballymodun????

Trying to find info regarding the marriage of my Great Grandparents Ann (Annie) Murphy and Charles Henry Breadmore.

1st could someone tell me where Ballymodun is?? Is it possible to get a marriage certificate from Ballymodun?? The info I have regarding the marriage of my greatgrandparents is listed below. If anyone has or is able to get any info on their marriage or any info regarding Annie Murphy if would be very much appreciated.

Military records for Charles Henry Breadmore states that he was in the Army in England and that on January 10, 1884 he married Ann Murphy in BALLYMODUN (nothing more as to where Ballymodun is)

Charles Henry was born in Birmingham England in 1862.

Annie Murphy was born in Ireland About 1863. I am trying to find any info on Annie Murphy - Parents, siblings, actual place of birth.

Perhaps it is possible that the town name was written incorrectly and the town is Ballymun, north of Dublin?

Having said that, I tried BALLYMODUN and it wasn't found. If you enter Bally and chose option "At beginning of Field" you will have a listing of all the "Bally" townlands. However, if you can't find one that is near, this link may be of use in the future.

I found BALLYMADAN in the civil parish of BALLYMADUN, Dublin, so this may be the one you need.
