John & Sarah Fulton Cook b. 1715-20, m. 1730s, emigrated to PA, then when John died Sarah & her children (Thomas, Hugh, Robert, John, Nancy, Elizabeth, order unknown) moved by 1772 into Union SC (then Craven Co). We know from The Journal of Alexander Chesney (of Loyalist Rev. War fame), son of Robert, grandson of Alexander Chesney/McChesney, that he was born in Dunclug, Ballymena, Antrim and his grandmother Jane Fulton Chesney was sister to my Sarah, thus it has been assumed by Cook researchers that John & Sarah were also in Ballymena, Antrim and possibly departed from Larne as did the family of Robert Chesney who, by invitation of "Aunt Widow Cook" settled near her in SC. According to notes at proni the McChesneys came from Scotland to Uster in 1641. Any help? Martha
