Hennessy Research

I'm looking for any information on Hennessys that originated in the Tipperary Co area. The family came from Cork to Tipperary Co in the early 1700s and split the town that is now Lisvernane between my ancestor, Timothy Hennessy, and his brother-in-law. The land for the local church was donated by the Hennessys and many still live in the town and general area.

The earliest info I have is on Timothy Hennessy (b. early 1700's, Dangan, County Cork; d. abt. 1790, Lisvernane, County Tipperary).

My ancestors came to America in the late 1800s. The first record I have of life in America is of John Henry Hennessy (b. 21 Jun 1850, Lisvernane, d.02 Dec 1906, Savannah, GA, USA).
