Mahon/ County Roscommon

Looking for information on my great grandmother, Catherine Mahon, born about 1850 in County Roscommon.  Her father was John Mahon.

After her father's death, Catherine's mother decided to go to USA to live with her sister who ran a boarding house in Cleveland, Ohio.  When it was time to leave, Catherine was too ill to travel and was left behind in the care of a doctor and his wife.  Her mother and her siblings set sail and the ship went down. Catherine eventually traveled to Cleveland where she later met and married Michael McGuire from County Sligo.
