Hello All--still trying to get my Conner line (William Conner who died in Shenandoah county in 1842) from Virginia in the 18-teens back to Ireland. Hoping this will help! Happy researching to each of you in this group!

Hi I have just joined your group. I have a 2nd g grandmother named Bridgit Cronin, from Limerick. I dont know which Parish. I have her parents names and wish I could find out which parish they came from. They ended up in Ontario Canada in the 1800's. Her mothers name was Flanagan. She married a Shutler who was from Alsase Lorraine.

Hi fellow Irish researchers. I really have the luck of the Irish, all my ancestors are from the emerald isle!

The families I am researching are:
-Smith/Smyth and Darcy from Ardmore, Co Waterford. William Smith came first to Jerome, AZ then to Los Angeles.

-Fitzpatrick, McIlvernon, McConvery from Dundrum, Co Down. James Fitzpatrick came first to Denver, CO then Cisco, TX then Los Angeles.

-Farrell, Finn, Tansey, O'Hara, Cunnane from Gurteen, Co Sligo and possibly from Co Roscommon. Patrick Farrell and Nora Finn came first to Cincinnati, OH. then Los Angeles.

-Keough (from Feakle, Co Clare), Clark, Kearns (possibly also from Co Clare). Michael Keough, Bridget Clark, Patrick Keough and Bridget Kearns came first to Cattaraugus County, New York.

Thanks!

Anyone researching Deegan/Degan in County Laois?? Also Berrigan/Bergin??? Lived in New York City/Long Island from 1850's on...Patrick Deegan and Margaret Berrigan Deegan. Supposedly a "Brooklyn connection" but he was a brickmaker in Oyster Bay, NY. His PARENTS were Patrick and Lucy.

Caro -- I don't have anything firm on per parents, but have worked on some of the other Kiernans in Kilmore. I am waiting for the Cavan Census to come on line, which I am expecting this month, and hopefully I can go back a little further.
