In 1677, James Jackman was granted a house lot of 12 rods upon a knowle in the common as long as he built the way, over the gutter neat, to get to the said lot. the road to run without his fence. This lot is located in what was the Oldtown Common Pasture(newbury, ma) and in 1715 in became the Oldtown General Pasture. We live on this lot. our line is James - Richard - James - Daniel - Levi - Levi - Moses - Moses - Fred - Fred(my husband)

Though, I haven't been able to devote as much time to it in recent months as I would have liked. I've also got a public tree on Ancestry which is a much more comprehensive list than the one on my site, though I still need to upload some more branches (including my own). My line goes: James>Richard>Richard>Richard>Moses>Moses>Alzina who married a Doyle.
