Brick Wall

I have hit a MAJOR brick wall regarding one family member, my great-great grandmother, Louisa Hinson.  She was a British Home Child, came to Canada in 1890 at the age of 11.  I have her parents names, but am not able to find any solid information linking her to anyone.  Her father was Henry Hinson, (could also possibly be John as is listed on some documents that I have).  I think it is a combination of the 2.  Her mother was Emma Cross. 

I would love to find information on whether or not she had any siblings, where she came from and why she was shipped off.
