Nicholasville: Mary Teater House, 94, of Rarrick Ave. died Sat., Nov. 25, at Mayfair Manor. A native of Jessamine County she was born May 9, 1912, to the late Harmon and Jewel Dean Teater. She was the widow of William Fountain House who died in 1963. “Mama” Mary as she was affectionately known by both family and friends loved to travel and was always ready to go when invited. She was most proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always eager to talk about them. She enjoyed being a part of the breakfast crowd at Arby’s and had acquired her own reserved seat there. Survivors include her 3 children Mildred Don Tracy, Billy Fount House and Sandy Hammons, Marilyn “Mickey” H. Pope and husband Miles H., 4 grandchildren Debbie Gardner, Tal House, Steve House, and Andy Criner, 6 great grandchildren Ryan Gardner, Crystal Agee, Logan House, Kyndall House, Caroline Criner, and Kate Criner, and 2 great great grandchildren Lauren and Garrett Stocker.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wed., Nov. 29, at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, W. Oak St., with Rev. Lee Baltzer officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be George Hager , Billy Teater, Dee Wilson, and Gene Buskirk.

Darla Joyce House, 62, of Brewers Mill Rd. Harrodsburg died Sunday, May 10, at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. A native of Anderson County she was born Nov. 10, 1946, to Joyce Johnson Bryant and the late Forest Bryant. Darla was a R.N. and had been employed in the health care industry for many years, her last employment had been with the Garrard County Senior Citizen Home Health Care, she was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church, and was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the 6th Kentucky Calvary Association. She was the owner of prize winning Saddle Bred Horses and had several times received the honor of being the “Rebel Granny” of the Boyle County Quarter Back Football Club. In addition to her Mother Joyce Johnson Bryant she is survived by her husband of 43 years Randal House, her father in law Delton House, 2 daughters Joan Lee House, husband Chad Greene, Perryville, and Jennifer Lynn House, Atlanta, GA., a brother Forest Eugene Bryant, wife Bonnie, Anderson County, 2 sisters Linda K. Schurman, Shelbyville and Sharon A. Doss, Lawrenceburg, 2 grandsons Jacob R. Salley, Perryville and Brent Salley, Lexington and numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday May 13, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Shouse officiating, burial in the House Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Back, Bobby Estes, Charles Kelly, William Bowman, Chris Sumner, and Daniel Burns.

Allen Burton House January 15, 1923 - November 16, 1990
Allen was the son of Burton House and the grandson of Lindsey and Minnie Burton House. He grew up in Nicholasville and played basketball for Nicholasville High School.

Burton House 1894 - 1971, is the son of Lindsey and Minnie Burton.
Nora Anderson House, 1902 - 1984, is the daughter of John Melvin Anderson.

Minnie Burton House 1878 - 1957 Minnie was the daughter of Allen A. Burton and Sophroni Cobb. She married Lindsey House on November 30, 1893, in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Minnie and Lindsey had two sons, Oakley and Burton. Oakley House was born 1903 and died 1970. Burton House was born November 30, 1894 and died May 03, 1971.

Alvin Ray House, Jr. 71, of Bethel Pike, Nicholasville, died unexpectedly Dec 25, 2000 at Central Baptist Hospital. He was a native of Jessamine Co. and the son of the late Alvin R. and Kate Perkins House. Mr. House was an Army vet and a life long farmer and landowner. He attended the Methodist Church. In additon to his wife Sylvia Burton House , he is survived by a son Donald House and his wife Jenny; a daughter Christie House Guy and her husband Bobby; 2 sisters, Mary Ruth Friend of Jessamine Co., and Neva Bailey of Lexington; one brother Wendell Holmes House of Lexington; four grandchildren, Robert Christopher Guy, Crystal Ivey and her husband Bobby, Stacey House Cochran and her husband Ray, Jessica Nicole House; 3 great grandchildren, Christopher Ray Cochran, Joseph Paul Ivey and McKenzie Ann Ivey. Funeral services were held Dec 28 at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home with Dr. CR Hager and Dr. Gayle Toole officiating. Burial followed at Camp Nelson Cemetery. Bearers were grandsons in law and nephews. Honorary Bearers were Bruce Davis, Charles Overstreet, Harold Burton, John Guffie, Jeff Woodward, Jim Ed Shearer, Harrison McMillen, Nullan Wallace Burton, Bill Reed.
