Peter Johnson aka Peder Johnsen, Norway

Looking for any information or relatives of my great-grandfather, Peter Johnson aka Peder Johnsen, b abt 1831 in Norway, perhaps Tromoy (I have found a Peter Johnson from Tromoy but cannot prove that he is my Peter Johnson), m Ose (Aase) Andrea Aronson b 7 Dec 1831, Ullevag, Dypvaag, Aust-Agder, Norway m 3 Apr 1854 in Buffalo, NY, USA (no marriage certificate able to be found.) Peter and Ose had 9 children, 1 child born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA died in less than 30 days.  1 child was born in St. Catherine, Ontario, Canada, died at 14 months of age. Remaining children were born in Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Peter died in Chicago 13 Feb 1896.  We were told he was born in Songe.  The Peter I found from Tromoy was the son of John Pedersen Songe and Aase Vroldsdatter, so I am guessing that Songe was the farm name.  I would like to know when he emigrated from Norway, and where did he go to.  I would also like to know when his wife emigrated and where she went.  She is the daughter of Aanon Jensen b 1802, Dypvaag, Aust-Agder, Norway, d 31 Mar 1889, Chicago, Illinois, USA and Helje Nilsdtr b 1799 Norway, d 12 May 1839 Norway.  Did she emigrate with her father?
