David Loman McManigle b. 15 May 1853 Johnstown, Cambria County, PA David was the son of John McManigle b. 15 Nov 1817 Hempfield, Westmoreland County, PA and Sarah Cobaugh. The name of Sarah Cobaugh was given as David's mother's name on this death certificate, in formant was David's wife, Jane (Wells) McManigle. David died 27 May 1922 Colfax, Richland County, ND.
John and his son David are found in 1860 US Federal Census in Eldred, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, living with his widowed mother and young brother, James McManigle, Jr. After 1860 I can find no record of John McManigle. Sarah (Cobaugh) McManigle was not with John and David in the 1860 Eldred, Jefferson County, PA Census. I have been able to find John in the 1850 census or in any census after 1860.
Would like to know what may have happened to John McManigle and who was the family of Sarah Cobaugh? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
